A 1974 graduate of West Chester State College, Janice
(Rensimer) Kuklick was a four-year competitor on the
Golden Rams women’s lacrosse teams. Kuklick never lost a
lacrosse game during her career as a Golden Ram.
Competing on four consecutive conference championship
teams, Kuklick was a three-time member of the Philadelphia
Area College Division I Lacrosse All-Star team (1971, ’72,
’
74). Her efforts on the lacrosse field also earned her All-
American honors and the opportunity to compete on several
United States touring teams.
In 1979, Kuklick was the first winner of the USWLA Beth
Allen Award given to the top player at the National Tournament.
She was a member of the U.S. National Team from
1975-80 and on the Reserve Squad for the team from 1971-
74 and in 1981.
Upon the completion of her playing career, Kuklick went
on to be an extremely successful head women’s lacrosse
coach at Chestnut Hill College from 1976-96. During her 23-
year career at Chestnut Hill, Kuklick guided her teams to

conference championships and earned three coach of the year
awards. She also received the Lindback Award for Outstanding
Teaching in 1990 at Chestnut Hill College.
In recognition of her accomplishments as a player and a
coach, Kuklick has been inducted to both the Pennsylvania
Sports Hall of Fame and the United States Lacrosse Hall of
Fame.
