Rachel Karslo was named the conference’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and West Chester placed third as a team at the 2007 ECAC Women’s Gymnastics Championships Saturday in Bridgeport, Conn.

Temple Tops West Chester in Gymnastics, 184.000-175.025
Jenna Ciatto placed third in the floor exercise and compiled a score of 35.250 in the all-around, but visiting Temple proved to be too much for West Chester securing a 184.000-175.025 victory at the Sturzebecker Health Science Center.

West Chester Gymnastics Places Third At MIT
West Chester’s women’s gymnastics placed third in a triangular meet hosted by MIT Saturday afternoon in Boston, Mass. SUNY Brockport won the meet with a composite score of 187.600 and MIT was runner-up with a 180.575. West Chester totaled 174.375.
