It is the goal of the of West Chester athletic department to ensure
supporters, friends
and fans that the University is not sacrificing its integrity to
continue its proud tradition of athletic excellence.
We all enjoy seeing the Rams win, but it is important to follow NCAA
rules governing the recruitment and treatment of student-athletes in the
process. The control and conduct of WCU’s athletic program is the
responsibility of the institution as a whole. Ensuring compliance includes
taking responsibility for the actions of student-athletes, staff members
and any other individual or organization engaged in activities in promoting
WCU athletic interests.
